About the Game

Uncrowned King is a short, atmospheric horror-exploration game about memory, vengeance, and survival.

You play as a royal heir once believed to be dead — now grown, hidden behind a false identity, and sent on a mission to save a wounded king. But fate is cruel. The very man you’re saving may be the one who destroyed your family.

While darkness falls on the cursed land, you must gather rare healing tulips, avoid a terrifying beast stalking the forest, and slowly piece together the truth of who you are — and why you’ve come back.

Developer Note

Uncrowned King is the result of 8 months of passion, uncertainty, and relentless iteration.

What began as a small experimental concept gradually grew into a narrative-driven experience blending tragedy, stealth, and dark fantasy.

Throughout development, we faced challenges — rewrites, technical loss, lost builds, and creative detours. But through it all, one thing remained: our desire to tell a meaningful story with the limited tools and time we had.
